Practice Information

Order of Levels:
Restorative Yoga
Gentle 1
Gentle 2
Gentle 3
Level 1
Level 1.5
Level 2

Stretch and Strength (Gentle 1) is a gentle practice with restorative yoga in the beginning and end, with strength building in between on the floor.  No yoga experience needed.

Chair Yoga is a gentle practice where poses will be done either sitting on the chair or using the chair for support. This practice only accepts Silver Sneakers. No yoga experience needed.

Stretch and Align Yoga(Gentle 2) is a slower paced flow, geared for those preferring a slightly gentler yoga practice without vinyasas (no planks or chaturangas). Linking breath awareness with mindful movement, you will flow in between and within postures to stretch and strengthen the body gradually. Props and modifications are offered for proper alignment and ease in postures. Beginner friendly.

Slow Flow Yoga (Gentle 3) You will flow slowly between traditional yoga poses, while focusing on linking mindful breath with movement. 
This practice is suitable for all levels. 

Gentle Flow Yoga (Gentle 3)
You will work on the alignment of poses, while slowly moving, focusing on linking mindful breath with movement. 
This practice is suitable for beginners. 

Yoga Flow (Level 1)
you will explore alignment, energy, and mindfulness that comes with a practice. You can expect to flow and experience the poses for an extended period of time. We will focus on foundational poses.

Align to Flow Yoga / Flow Yoga(Level 1) practice will flow with alignment and then with breath. The practitioner will build strength, flexibility, and breath to help their practice of foundational poses.

Align to Flow Yoga (Level 1.5)  practice will flow with alignment and with breath. The practitioner will build strength, flexibility, and breath to help their practice grow and deepen. The practitioner should have knowledge of foundational yoga, be willing to try new poses, and be ready to deepen and strengthen their practice.

Mixed Level Yoga Flow (Level 1 & 2)
practice will flow with an alignment base. The practitioner will build strength, flexibility, and breath to help their practice grow and deepen. Level 1 and Level 2 students are welcome.  Some basic knowledge of yoga is helpful.

Yoga Flow (Level 2) you will explore alignment, energy, and mindfulness that comes with a practice that builds on the foundational poses. You can expect to flow and experience the poses for an extended period of time. We will allow the practice to unfold and understand the individual needs of our bodies and mind.

Align to Flow (Level 2) practice will flow with alignment and with breath. The practitioner will build strength, flexibility, and breath to help their practice grow and deepen. The practitioner should have knowledge of foundational yoga, be able to do a headstand/handstand (at wall), and be ready to deepen and strengthen their practice.

Yoga Core (All Levels) is practiced with a yogic approach. It is a practice where repetitious movements are used to strengthen muscles, build endurance, improve mobility, and body awareness.

Restorative Yoga Workshop is a supported, conscious body/mind relaxation practice. No yoga experience required.

Beginner Yoga Series Workshop is a 5 week practice on Wednesdays at 6:45pm - 7:45pm.  It is a great place to start. You will learn basic alignment and verbal cues.  Each week we increase the amount of work, so that by the end of the series you can do a Sun Salutation.
